Etsy Love

Is there anyone who hasn't fallen under the Etsy spell yet? My latest searches: natural ornaments, children's clothing, holidays... etc.... etc. I would love to have myself a little shop there one day.

Today I found these adorable watercolor postcards with rhymes. Oh my. Love!

They remind me of Sarah's adorable paintings, which I also fell in love with. I think they could make her rich someday.

OK. Drooling done. Back to everyday life now...

  1. I have been clicking around there lately too! I have an 11 yo niece who is completely addicted and always telling me about the cool stuff she finds :)

  2. Hi Lynn,

I finally finished the 10 Surprising Things about Me post. I'm a little behind lately. And I just have to add that I totally understand what you mean about being with the kids all the time but not really being there at the same time.

Sometimes I try to pretend that I'm the babysitter and not the mom. Babysitters are with the kids for a few hours and their job is to entertain the kids and have a good time with them without yelling at them. It's a great mental way to sit back and focus on just enjoying life.

I have to run, but you could probably sell your cute nut ornaments on Etsy!

  3. Just this afternoon I picked up a Gilbert magazine (the magazine of GK Chesterton which we print at the print shop where I work) and I saw some of the most entrancing paintings of fruit. They said one could see more of this particular artist on Etsy. I had never heard of it before, but I guess now I'm gonna have to check it out. The artist is Timothy Jones, and the one I just can't get enough of looking at is called Orange Peeled. (Sorry I guess I can't italicize on here...proofreader's nightmare....grrrr.)

  4. Oh darn. The orange painting isn't on there. But you can see how realistic his paintings are...
